Democrats – Same Seditious Party As In The Time Of Lincoln.

In 1865, the party that started the civil war was forced to sign a surrender, but they got their revenge by killing our President at the time Abraham Lincoln. The party that acted then, the Democrats have shown that even though time has passed, they are the same seditious party they were back then.

Before the civil war, just like they were unhappy in 2016, the problems started with the election of Lincoln, just as it was in 2016 with Trump. In 1860 the Democrats in reaction to the election victory of Abraham Lincoln over Democrat Stephen Douglas.

To understand the election better one has to realize that the Democratic party was deeply split in 1860, the Southern Democrats were demanding both an expansion of slavery and holding to state rights. The Northern Democrats were more pro-constitution, supporting a stable central government, were not in favor of slavery expanding, but wanted it protected where it was in place.

Entering into this was a third party, the Constitutional Union Party, “No North, No South, No East, No West, Nothing but the Union.”

It consisted of conservative former Whigs, mainly from the Southern United States, who wanted to avoid secession over the slavery issue and refused to join either the Republican Party or the Democratic Party. The Constitutional Union Party campaigned on a simple platform “to recognize no political principle other than the Constitution of the country, the Union of the states, and the Enforcement of the Laws”.

They too were not pro-slavery, they were more indifferent to it, did not call for its abolition, preferably the right of the state should be maintained, but agreements were already in place, they were not in favor of its expansion.

In the same way, the Democrats blamed the loss of their election due to votes stripped off in this last election by the Libertarian Party and the Green Party. The Democrats in 1860 blamed their loss on the votes stripped off by the Constitutional Union Party, who won 37 electoral votes, votes the Democrats thought they were entitled to. Just like in 2016, in 1860, they could not help but show their seditious nature, only then they ceded from the Union, today they are working to rid themselves of a president.

When the Democrats saw the election was lost in 2016, they set about setting in motion multiple efforts to rid themselves of Trump, a president they felt was due to the ignorant right. The election was rightfully theirs. All the news was confirmed this when they lost they turned on the Green Party and attacked Jill Stein for taking what they felt should have been Clinton’s votes.

Like in the 1860s, there are rumblings of ceding from the Union again. Once more, it is from Democratic-controlled states, who instead of trying to win through the polls are showing their seditious nature in attempting to remove a sitting president by attacking him nonstop, setting in motion hearing after hearing, now trying to impeach what they can’t remove by-election.

States like California are seeing calls for a separation from the Union growing in strength. Still, like Virginia years ago, the idea does not sit well with the state, the area’s not on the coast are now talking about breaking off from the state and becoming their own.

There are rumblings that the call to cede could grow in strength, maybe grow to reality if Trump does win the 2020 election. The Democrats knowing that Trump most likely will win against any challenger they have today are moving in their typical seditious manner to remove him so he can’t win, turns out they would rather trash the constitution then risk another loss to him.

When the war of 1860 was finished we found a convenient way to deal with the sedition from the Democrats, one has to wonder if they break free, are we going to have another civil war to save the union? And if we do, are we going to have to deal with the seditious leaders the same we did in the past?

The left is still recovering from the shock of losing the 2016 election, we have seen since that day their reaction to this, doing exactly what they said Trump would do if he lost, how much worse will it be if they lose in 2020?
