‘You Cage Children For A Fascist President,’ O’Malley Screams At Acting DHS Deputy

Martin O’Malley, former Baltimore mayor, governor of Maryland and candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, seeing the Acting DHS Deputy in a bar starts screaming about his heritage, the current president and accuses him of being “the son of immigrant grandparents who cages children for a fascist president.”

Two politicians show up a bar, both are there to support the school they had gone to and one starts screaming, causes a problem until the other leaves and then blames the other for actions his party started. This is liberal lunacy for you.

According to FOX News Cuccinelli had this to say:

“I arrived at The Dubliner to meet with some of my Gonzaga classmates last night. As I walked up to one of the bars among several in The Dubliner to order my Guinness, I heard screaming and cursing behind me to my left, which I did not immediately take notice of other than the fact that it was louder than everything else in the pub.”

Cuccinelli continued: “When I turned to look, I saw O’Malley, and he was screaming at me. For a moment, I thought he was trying to be funny, as we’ve met before, which I thought was strange. It was immediately clear that he was cursing and screaming for real, to the point of veins bulging on his neck.”

Cuccinelli added that O’Malley had “also inspired one or two of his (apparent) buddies to join in the cussing assault,” which the Trump official said he attempted to ignore. Cuccinelli said he proceeded to try to order at a different bar within The Dubliner, but that O’Malley followed him.

“At which point O’Malley pushed his way through the small group to confront me face to face, still cursing me, the President, and my Italian ancestry and he got right up in my face, bumped up against me and invited me to take a swing at him,” Cuccinelli recalled, adding, “at which point I said ‘Martin, one of us has to rise above this, and it’s obviously not going to be you.'”

After the incident O’Malley defended his actions to The Washington Post, which first reported on the incident, noting that he and other graduates were blasting Cuccinelli due to the former Trump administration immigration policy that separated families at the Southern border.

“We all let him know how we felt about him putting refugee immigrant kids in cages — certainly not what we were taught by the Jesuits at Gonzaga,” O’Malley said in a text to the Post, adding that Cuccinelli is “the son of immigrant grandparents who cages children for a fascist president.”

What was not said here, and it should have been, the caging of children did not start under Trump, it began under Obama, but the left wants us to forget this, to let the outrage only blame one person. They also fail to disclose that this is no longer practiced; this was stopped under Trump. But what are facts when fiction gives you a better narrative, right?

What is of note here, fact-checking sites, sites that are supportive of the left could not even cover for this, although some tried to make excuses for the Obama administration.

AP in their fact-checking site had to admit that Obama was the one that had the cages built, Trump had continued to use them until Trump finally had it stopped.

Business Insider said the same thing while looking at the claim by Trump that this practice started under Obama, they had little choice but to concede this point.

Sites like FactCheck.org could not dispute that it was Obama who built the cages, so they went on their obvious slanted rant of accusing Trump policy of causing this, all the while refused to address the fact that it was Obama who built the facilities.

Part of the problem with these sites is their blatant hate for Trump causes them to ignore the facts, dig for something, anything, to support their attacks. In the meantime, their reputation lies in shatters. At this point, places like Huff posts, FactCheck.org and AP have left the readers with little trust in their supposed ‘fact-checking,’ and others like Business Insider are not much better.

Yet none of this matters, it is the narrative that does, even if it is based on half-truths. Did Trump separate children from families? Yes he did, he continued a policy of the last administration, at first made it worse with his zero-tolerance policy, then as events unfolded he changed this, it no longer happens now, but the accusation is that it still does.

Yet the worst part of this is shown by the lack of civility by the left, politicians like O’Malley, Watters, and others feel justified in their attacks and threats of violence, all while trying to play out their virtuous and having selective historical memory.
